Part oneHow The Shells Come Out
Most toy blasters hide what happens inside. Every dart rides inside its own toy shell, the way a cartridge holds a bullet. You load the darts into the shells, put the shells in, and fire. The dart launches and the empty shell is kicked out.
The Raven has a working slide release and a kick-back motion, so the top of the blaster moves as it fires. That is the moment people buy it for: the kick, and the empty shell flying out.
- Load the dartsPush a dart into each toy shell. Six shells and twenty darts come in the box.
- InsertPut the loaded shells into the blaster.
- FireThe dart launches and the slide kicks back.
- Eject and repeatThe empty shell is kicked out. Pick it up, load a fresh dart and go again.
“I loaded the casings, put the magazine in and fired it. The slide moved and the spent casings ejected.”
— Greg R., Raven owner review
Part twoBuilt To Be Held, Not Feared
The Raven is pistol sized: about 8 inches (20 cm) long and 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall. It arrives fully assembled and ready to fire, and the brick versions come with a set of attachable bricks and a clear display stand.
The bricks are the part kids run with. Owners have built brick scopes, put minifigures on top, added jet wings and stacked whole towers onto it. Attachments such as a red dot, a laser and a flashlight are sold separately, and a rail mount lets the Raven run all three at once.

It is also tested as a toy. The Raven (supplier model K005) passed EN 71-1, EN 71-2 and EN 71-3 testing, including the projectile-toy section 4.17 (report NAP2506013901E), and is covered by US children's product certificate 85260070025 for ASTM F963-23 and CPSIA. It is age-graded 6+. Full list: Product Safety & Testing.

Smooth Cycling And Shell Ejection
I like the lightweight brick design and find it easy to use. It cycles smoothly, ejects shells and locks the slide back when empty. The range and trigger feel are decent, and mine rarely jams.

My son who's 11 loves this toy! The quality is great and it came packaged nicely to top it off! I'd recommend this as a gift for any boy because it's a toy my son reaches for often!
